Going to All Girl Graff show in San Bernardino!

My wife Jessica is going to be a featured artist in this show at the Alley Kat Jazz Lounge brought to you by Mad Mady.

Pics from Babytattooville!

I had the privilege of joining Sketch Theatre at Babytattooville 2009. I had tons of fun meeting all the super talented artists taking part including: Gregg Craola Simkins, Liz Mcgrath, Audrey Kawasaki, Jeff Soto, Travis Louie, Yoskay Yamamoto, Gris Grimly, and Johnnie Rodriguez along with just being in the company of such other greats as Tim Biskup, Lola, Nathan Spoor, Nate Frizzell, Bob Dob, and Gary Baseman. Talk about an art OVERLOAD! Wow, it was really great, it took place in a wonderful place surround by even more wonderful scenery in the heart of Riverside California. Hope you enjoy the pics I took while I was there.

Later, Apricot

Baby Tattooville provides a unique opportunity for a few enthusiastic collectors (like yourself) to spend a weekend with an all-star lineup of celebrated artists. Without the time constraints of a typical personal appearance, or the crowd control issues of a standing-room-only event, artists and collectors will have a weekend-long opportunity to discuss and explore their mutual interests. Original work will be created and celebrated around-the-clock; no one will leave empty handed.

You can read more about it at these websites: arrestedmotion.com, dailydujour.com

Comic Con 2009

So I went to Comic Con earlier this week as camera man and crew member for CG Channel. The show was amazing and more crowded than any event I have ever been to. There were so many artists showing their work and their books that it was completely inspiring and overwhelming at the same time. I must say my favorite artist at the Con was Character artist RAGNAR you can check out his blog at http://symptomatica.blogspot.com/. His style has always inspired me. His books are really awesome and are chuck full of good stuff. I used to do a lot of vector art back in the day and I gotta say, seeing his stuff always makes me want to do more. Aside from the artists...THE TOYS were awesome as well. I somehow managed to get this awesome Baron Harkonnen figure for 5 bucks at a booth. After completing my Dune piece of Lady Chani, this was a total lucky find.
